What is Social Fabric?

Social Fabric® is an invite- or application-only private online community that is owned by Collective Bias™, a leading shopper media company.  The community consists of over 1,100 members and brands, and over 170 interest groups.  In order to maintain a good balance within the community our community management team screens all bloggers interested in joining our community.

Unlike many PR blogger outreach programs, we do not send our members products for review.  Our members join interest groups within the community and apply for opportunities they feel passionate about. We send our members into stores to purchase product and show their entire path-to-purchase experience with the brand.  We call these opportunities, “shoppertunities”. The entire process is documented using social sharing applications and various social media applications.

Our members not only participate in campaigns, but they also assist in the brainstorming and planning process.  We even contract our Social Fabric® community members as Campaign Leads to run our projects. There is unlimited growth potential as a Social Fabric® member.

The Social Fabric® community is strong and steadily growing to support our diverse client relations that include Elmer’s, ConAgra, Sears, Colgate, MurphyUSA, and Mars Candy to name a few.  Interaction, interest, and activity are key to having a successful experience within our community.

  1. I cannot rave enough about Social Fabric. When I joined, I was offered personalized messages, open arms and even spoke on the phone with the campaign lead on one of my first campaigns. I discovered very quickly what a rewarding experience it is to offer feedback on product packaging, shelf displays and the product itself AND receive feedback directly from the client.

Never fearing to speak my mind about things I liked… and disliked, I applied for the campaigns that interested me while avoiding things that I just was not good at (cough, crafts, cough). Social Fabric – and Collective Bias have given me opportunity after opportunity – not only as a consumer participant but as a campaign lead and beyond.

Social Fabric is an amazing community with incredible leadership that set the tone for the rest of us. I am proud to say that I am a member!

  3. Best community out there in my opinion! I too was was embraced by this community with “open arms” immediately after joining a mere 3 months ago! So many members have helped me in so many ways to grow as a blogger and quite honestly as a person! I’ve made friends, and I’ve learned so much about products that I would otherwise have not even known existed, and I’ve been able to share these products with friends, family, and my social media community! In a nutshell, Social Fabric rocks and I plan on staying around and playing along as long as you’ll have me!

I would love to be part of this community but I have not been able to use the sign up link. I am not sure that men can join either but if So I’d absolutely be thrilled to be part of this team.
