Exciting. Motivating. Fun. These are the key words that first entered my mind while sitting on the plane looking back at my trip to Austin with Genesis Today. Before the trip, I was filled with anticipation and excitement knowing that I was going to finally get to meet the bloggers that I work with. I know so much about them, but had never met them. It was really great to put a face with a name and for me to start building relationships.
The two information packed days with Genesis Today were invaluable. First, I learned so much about my body, what I put into it, and what comes out (seriously, people. Lots of potty talk.) During the Q & A session with Dr. Lindsey, the steady flow of knowledge that I was taking in was powerful, so much I wanted to share it with the world. I even felt compelled to tweet, in real-time, word for word what I was learning. I was transforming, not only myself but as were other people in the room. For some, it was a roller coaster ride. One minute there was laughter in the room, and the next you could hear tears welling up.
Being my first client trip for Collective Bias, I was fortunate enough to not only get the opportunity to attend and meet and greet, but also learn from observation in the business and professional aspects of working with clients. I felt motivated being there and I felt lucky. I was putting the right tools in my belt for me to grow professionally and to learn all I can. From now on, call me a sponge. Not a dirty green and yellow one that resides by the sink, but a 5′10″ one soaking up knowledge from everyone around her.
Next stop, Blissdom!

Sounds like a great trip!
Wasn’t it fun Brooke? You are right…lots of potty talk….lots of learning and lots of fun. Great meeting you!!
It was great finally getting to meet you, as well as all of the other wonderful bloggers, people from Collective Bias and of course Genesis Today. It certainly was a POWERFUL trip and one that I’m still working through in my head (and heart).
I loved meeting you Brooke! Wish I was going to Blissdom to hang with the girls again! I’m sure our paths will cross again soon!
PS…Can you send me the “diet” that Dr. Lindsey gave you? Can’t wait to see how it goes!
It was so great to meet you, your colleagues, the Genesis Today people, and the other bloggers. And, despite what this picture indicates, I wasn’t sleeping during this discussion…
