The Dynamics of Food Donation
In this opinion piece, Rob Zomock, EVP & President of Global Operations at Inmar, discusses food waste and the urgency to which we should treat food donation. Given that more than one-third of the U.S. food supply goes to waste, efforts in decreasing that and putting this food into the mouths of the 40 million Americans that are living in food insecure households should be made a priority. Inmar is proud to operate 21 facilities nationwide that enable the delivery of 15 million to 20 million pounds of usable product to food banks every year.
